Sometimes you need a vacation from a vacation

My friends and I had an amazing time in Vegas, but now I think I need time to recover from all the fun haha. I have tons of pictures to share, but my laptop is at its storage capacity, so in the mean time while it loses some weight, I wanted to show you my cute little succulents I planted a couple of months ago. I've been smitten by these things ever since I found them during a random trip to the Home Depot. I know I have a black thumb, but since succulents don't require a lot of attention, I thought they had a fighting chance surviving in my care. Unfortunately, I lost one in my thesis writing frenzy, but the rest of them still seem to be alive and kicking =)

2010 already??

Oh how fast time flies! I'm still getting used to the idea of it being 2010. Instead of the "usual" New Years Resolutions, I've decided to really put some thought into mine this year. I'm not sure what they're going to be yet but I'm determined to make them good =) It feels really nice to be blogging again. Back to the daily grind for me starting tomorrow. Bring on the obscene amount of coffee!

I hope you all had a stupendous holiday! I am luckily still going to be in vacation mode till next Monday, so until then I'll be enjoying the comforts of home, lots and lots of sleep, and good food =) Can't believe the New Year is right around the corner, I'm crossing my fingers and praying that good things come my way!

Where I spent most of my teenage years

So this is where I spent my time dreaming, listening to music, and crushing on boys in my teenage years. My parents never touched it after I left for college, so what you see is pretty much how I left it when I moved out many moons ago. Sigh... I would give almost anything to turn back time. Things were so much simpler back then =)
