{on the road again}

This past weekend, my sister and I headed to a family friend's winter vacation home in Big Bear Lake to celebrate my Godfather's 60th birthday. The weekend started off unusually warm, but we surprisingly woke up to a blanket of fresh snow on Saturday morning. We snowboarded our hearts out the entire day and later enjoyed the best homemade food and tons of laughter. I'm happy to report that I made it home with all my limbs. Even though I'm not that good at snowboarding, I have an insatiable urge to become a snowbunny. I actually think a new snowboard is in my future ;)
